Running for the Winter Garden
The Friends of Battersea Park team of Sophie Campbell, Angela Grant, Joanne Taylor and Sherrin Thompson have been invited to run in the JP Morgan Corporate Challenge on 8th July, raising money for the final phase of the Winter Garden. Located by the Sun Gate, at the south-west corner of the Park, and designed by Dan Pearson, the Winter Garden will celebrate the darker season with plants that provide vibrant colour and scent from leaf fall to bud burst.

The team invite you to sponsor them towards the Friends’ next target, which is raising money for the shrubs, perennials and bulbs, Twelve camellia sasanquas will cost £300, three mature magnolia loebneri cost £220 each, and 6600 snowdrop bulbs cost £1050.Bandstand Music
On 17th July, Wandsworth Council has arranged a day of music at the Bandstand. the day runs from 1:30 to 10:45.
