The Friends of Battersea Park provide a responsible
group of people whom Wandsworth
Council can consult with as Park users.
A magazine, containing news, views and
articles about the Park, is produced quarterly
and sent free to Friends.
Friends views and ideas are represented at
monthly meetings with the Park management.
Friends organise, and are represented at,
numerous events thoughout the year. These
include an annual sculpture award and various
fund raising events.
A membership application form is available for download.
On Monday 15th February the Kensington and Chelsea Council are closing Albert Bridge to motor traffic for major refurbishment. The work is expected to take 18 months, but Park users will still be able to walk across. more...

Warning of ice was quite OK.
Why “No BBQs permitted”?
Please those on duty another day,
Before warnings are transmitted,
By signs or any other way,
Use words that are better fitted.

Not centred, quite deliberate.
