Friends Events

Throughout the year the Friends host or participate in a number of events.

Friends 13th Annual Sculpture Prize, 5th September

This years sculpture prize will be presented by Anderson Inge, of the Architects Association, to the winning RCA student, Lucy May Tomlins, for her piece Country Concrete.
The award ceremony starts at 6:30 at the Millennium Arena.

Friends Lunchtime Lecture, Monday 19th September

Listen to John Fleetwood, of The Woodland Trust, give an illustrated talk on Urban Ancient Trees, with reference to those in Battersea Park. The talk will be held upstairs (22 steps up) in The Bridge Room at The Prince Albert, 85 Albert Bridge Road, Battersea, SW11 4PF. Doors open at noon, lecture starts at 12:30, finishes at 13:30.
Cost is £5 per adult, tickets ARE NO LONGER ON SALE..

Whilst listening, tuck into delicious sandwiches, coffee, tea provided by The Prince Albert at an additional special inclusive price of £5 (pay the Prince Albert staff on the day)
Bring your pre-paid ticket or Paypal receipt, sleeping baby, dog .....
