Although much of the Parks history is well documented there are many gaps, and maybe you could help. If you have any old memories of the Park, or old photographs, we would welcome sharing them with other Park users.
If you are interested in wildlife you might want to look out for some of the creatures that are the subject of national surveys, such as Hedgehogs or Stag Beetles.

The Friends Annual General Meeting will be held on Monday 6th July, starting 7:30pm, at All Saints Church, 100 Prince of Wales Drive, SW11. This is your chance to meet the Friends Committee, Wandsworth Council's Park Managment and other enthusiastic Park users. Refreshments will be available. The Friends of Battersea Park team of Sophie Campbell, Angela Grant, Joanne Taylor and Sherrin Thompson has been invited to run in the JP Morgan Corporate Challenge on 8th July, raising money for the final phase of the Winter Garden. The team invite you to sponsor them towards the Friends’ next target, which is raising money for the shrubs, perennials and bulbs, Twelve camellia sasanquas will cost £300, three mature magnolia loebneri cost £220 each, and 6600 snowdrop bulbs cost £1050. more...
Again this year, La Gondola al Parco, the cafe by the lake, are arranging live music every Tuesday and Friday evening (weather permitting), from 7pm with a BBQ and refreshments. Entrance is free.
